Fostering offers you the opportunity to give an animal a safe environment that they may have never had before, love them unconditionally, and receive the same unconditional love back, all while saving a life! The more fosters we have, the more lives we can save.

Foster FAQs
There are only so many kennels available in our shelter. If they are already full, we cannot accept any more dogs. The more foster families we have, the more available space we have to save lives!
Another benefit of a foster family is the ability to observe the dog’s behavior in a home environment instead of in a shelter environment. Often, a shelter environment is extremely stressful for a dog, and their true personalities cannot shine through. When you foster, you’re able to witness a dog’s true personality, and help Faithful Hearts to better match them up with a potential adopter.

As a foster, your daily responsibilities are to provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your foster pet(s). If you rent your home, you must be allowed to have pets.
There are no costs to foster animals with Faithful Hearts Animal Shelter. We will provide food, medication, and other supplies as needed. You just provide the love!
